Decoding Movement
2014
50 minutes
Arko Theatre, Seoul. S.Korea
Choreography is planning the body to move by a set unit of performance. The body here is not only a physical cause and effect that creates movement, but it also includes thought, senses, emotion, and attitude, which activate the body. Then we can consider the everyday life and habits that decide how our body is to perceive the outside world instantly, like a flash, is also choreography. We pay attention to our bodies as subjects that embody choreographic action.
